Transparency Flunk

A new report card on price transparency by the Catalyst for Payment Reform (CPR) gives a failing grade to 29 states and a D to another seven for policies that make it difficult for consumers to learn the total health care costs from providers. Only two states – Massachusetts and New Hampshire – received an A, although even they could stand for some improvement, the CPR reported.
